We are so excited...
...we haven't even updated this blog.
ELTEE is an official selection of the 2010 Whistler Film Festival.
The page that proves ELTEE is screening at WFF is here.
We've update the ELTEE website with extra snazziness.
A whole bunch of the cast and family and friends are coming up for the screening.
WE. ARE. EXCITED.

we swear we're not slacking on ELTEE
rob and i spent 6 hours on saturday cleaning up the sound on ELTEE in preparation for sending ELTEE to film festivals.
yes, it's that time once again for rollercoaster emotions to take hold of us as we throw money and pieces of ourselves at film festivals in hopes of acceptance. just one would be awesome.
and today, rob sent ELTEE to the Edinburgh Film Festival and Cannes. yes, you read that right, THAT Cannes!
we have the faith in the film and in all our actors so why not go for the gold! Go CANADA Go!
oh sorry, just had a flash back to the Canada and US gold medal hockey game last week.
anyways, keep the faith! we are.

An update
wow, a lot has happened since the last entry.
- after Rob started editing ELTEE last fall he felt he needed a few more scenes so we shot 3-4 additional scenes a couple of weeks before christmas.
- Steve McBean from Black Mountain (yes, THAT Black Mountain) agreed to record an original song for ELTEE as well as be an actor. We are super excited about his involvement.
- Ryan Beattie from Chet is also in the movie and his band recorded a song that we're using for the start of the film. We love Chet so we were really happy they agreed to come into The Hive to record a song and a scene.
- Rob's been sending some sneak peak clips to some contacts in the indie music world and indie film world and those contacts are VERY VERY INTERESTED in seeing the rough draft.
- Rob has just finished the first rough cut of ELTEE and it is looking so amazing.
- I just secured a URL for the film and currently there's nothing there but a still and links to this blog and the facebook group. It was tough deciding on a URL so it may change in the future but for now the official ELTEE site is here.

Might be the last day of shooting
Tomorrow's shoot might just be the last one. We've got Kelly Haigh and Justin Kellam coming in to serve up some sweet country and comedy. Will post pictures of the madness. You will have to wait to see moving images of the magic though.
